The Academic Resource Center (ARC) is committed to supporting student learning needs at all levels and to helping students develop learning strategies that foster academic success.  We do this by providing opportunities for students to engage in active, collaborative, and supportive learning experiences with peers, faculty and staff.

Ms. Baucom coordinates the day-to-day operation of the ARC. Students will find that many of their questions about academic support services can be answered by Ms. Baucom. The office is open  8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday during the regular academic year.

Dr. Murray coordinates the assignment of students to their academic advisors in their field of study. Students declaring or changing majors do so through this office. Wingate 101, a one-hour course required of all first year students, is an integral part of academic advising.

Mr. Winchester directs the activities of the Writing Center, which include helping students develop their writing skills as well as helping the wider campus community with initiatives focused writing activities.
