Nearly forty years after crashing onto the pop and soul charts with the hits "Give Me Just A Little More Time," and “Carolina Girls,” the Grammy-Award winner General Johnson & the Chairmen of the Board continue to be the face of Carolina Beach Music, a rollicking brand of music that mirrors the feel-good R&B of the 60s and early 70s.

  Peggy the Pint-Sized Pirate

  The Infamous Stringdusters

Three-time International Bluegrass Music Association award winning band, The Infamous Stringdusters, deliver their unique bluegrass acoustic show with incredible energy and passion! Though the band is rooted in the traditions of bluegrass, fans can always expect to hear a mix of country, bluegrass and free form improvisations that helps to make every show a one-of-a-kind experience.

Under the direction of Dr. Jessie Wright Martin with Dr. Kenney Potter conducting the Union Symphony Orchestra, Johann Strauss, Jr. found a delightful context for this masterwork of the operetta form, a work of intoxicating pleasure set in 19th century Vienna.  Practical jokes and a well-laid revenge make for an evening full of laughs.

From exciting classical arrangements, to breathtaking vocal harmony, to burning jazz standards, Boston Brass achieves new levels in brass performance while treating audiences to a unique musical experience that captivates all ages. The ensemble's lively repartee, touched with humor and personality, bridges the vast ocean of classical formality to delight audiences to an evening of boisterous fun, exciting knowledge and an enthusiastic love of music, deftly exhibited by five brash brass players. Part of this performance will feature "Latin Nights"-- A mix of styles that will take you on a journey throughout landscapes and portraits of Spain, Latin America and Brazil.

  Turtle Island String Quartet

Turtle Island’s repertoire consists of hundreds of ingenious arrangements and originals that includes folk, bluegrass, swing, be-bop, funk, R&B, new age, rock, hip-hop, as well as music of Latin America and India. This performance will include A Love Supreme - The Legacy of John Coltrane, for which they received a Grammy Award for Best Classical Crossover Album.

  The Frog Prince

The whole family will love this take on "The Frog Prince"—a classic fairy tale of a prince who is transmogrified by a witch into a warty toad. Follow the Frog Prince and his sidekick, the serving man, on their one-hour (or so) journey through the forest, in which the multi-specied cast helps the pea-green potentates' attempts to get the Milkmaid to voluntarily kiss his slippery lips.

  Louis Ramey

Louis Ramey, a sharp witted humorist who thrives on performing standup, connecting with people and making them think. first took the stand-up comedy stage in college on a dare from his friends. He has been hooked ever since. Louis appears weekly on Nickelodeon's, The Nick @ Night Road Crew. You may have seen him on Comedy Central's World Comedy Tour or on his own half-hour special, Comedy Central Presents: Louis Ramey. He has also performed on television shows such as ABC's The View, NBC's Last Comic Standing, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
