A long-standing partnership

Reporter Virginia Franko writes in the Union County Weekly about a 15-year partnership between Wingate University students and the Willow Oaks YWCA.
Proof of the strong bond between the two organizations revealed itself in 2006, when ESPN selected Wingate University’s sport sciences majors to receive its prestigious Play Your Way Grant. he The students chose to share 25 percent of the $1,000 award with Willow Oaks.
