Boston Brass to perform at Wingate University

Wingate, N.C. – Boston Brass will perform at Wingate University on Jan. 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the George A. Batte, Jr. Fine Arts Center on campus.

Boston Brass performs as many as 100 concerts a year having played in Tokyo, Singapore and Hong Kong; and many places in the U.S. including New York, Minneapolis, Portland and San Antonio. They have recorded several albums and were featured on The CBS Early Show and NPR’s Performance Today.

The performance at Wingate will include classical arrangements, vocal harmony and jazz standards. Part of the performance will feature “Latin Night,” a mix of styles from Spain, Latin America and Brazil. Tickets are $20 and can be purchase online at or by phone at 704-233-8316.
