Choral Concert performance at Wingate University

Wingate, N.C. – Wingate University will host a Choral Concert entitled, “Songs of the People,” on Thursday, April 22 at 7:30 p.m. The free concert will be held in McGee Theatre in the George A. Batte, Jr. Fine Arts Center on campus.
The concert, conducted by Dr. Kenney Potter, director of choral activities and assistant professor of music, will include four choirs: University Singers, Chamber Choir, Women's Choir and Men's Choir. The repertoire includes folksongs from around the globe, including Brazil, Venezuela, Latvia, Ireland and Scotland. Additionally, African American spirituals and American folksongs will be performed at the concert.
