Free faculty art exhibit at Wingate University

Wingate, NC – A faculty art exhibit will be on display at Wingate University’s George A. Batte, Jr. Fine Arts Center in the C. Douglas Gallery on campus from March 16 – April 8.

Faculty members from the Art Department will each have a few pieces of artwork in the exhibit. Featured artists include Louise Napier, Lex Youngman, Marilyn Hartness, Daingerfield Ashton, Jr., Charlene Bregier, Isaac Payne, Jordan Sorrells, Darren Young and Jenny Zito-Payne. Founded in 1896, Wingate University is a private four-year co-educational institution of 2,159 students offering active learning opportunities through personalized instruction, world travel, career discovery and community service.

Bulldog student-athletes compete in 19 NCAA Division II sports. Wingate University has won the South Atlantic Conference Echols Athletic Excellence Award for the past three years.
