Union Symphony Orchestra outdoor pops concert at Wingate University

Wingate, N.C. – Wingate University welcomes the Union Symphony Orchestra to campus for a free outdoors pops concert on Monday, June 23 at 7:30 p.m. The concert is open to the community.

The musical program will feature a medley of Broadway hits by Rogers & Hammerstein and favorite selections from Lerner & Lowe’s “My Fair Lady.” Aaron Copeland’s signature works “Hoe Down” and “Rodeo” will celebrate the spirit of the American West. Patriotic favorites like “Stars and Stripes Forever” by John Philips Sousa will conclude the evening.

Lawn seating will be available in the Promenade on campus in front of Stegall Building by the pond. Lawn chairs, picnics and blankets are welcome. Ample parking is free and will be available near the main entrance.
