Wingate, N.C. – Based on the progression of today's storm and the mixture of freezing rain and sleet, the University will close at 3 p.m. today. All classes will end at 2:50 p.m. and University Offices will close. The Office of Residence Life and Campus Safety will remain available for students by calling 704.233.8999.
Because of inclement weather, the SAT Exam that was to be administered tomorrow (Saturday, Jan. 26) at Wingate University has been canceled. The national makeup date is Saturday, Feb. 16 at Wingate University. If you have questions visit www.ets.org or email Dr. Jay Wilder (WU supervisor for administering the SAT) at jwilder@wingate.edu.
