Wingate University Hendersonville expands

Wingate, N.C. – On Friday, April 4, Wingate University signed an agreement to become one of the lead tenants in a new health education facility that will be built at 747 Sixth Avenue West in downtown Hendersonville. The nearly $17 million project is a joint venture with Wingate University, Henderson County, City of Hendersonville, Blue Ridge Community College and Pardee Hospital. Wingate will lease the space. The University’s current programs (pharmacy, physician assistant studies, MBA) will move into the 60,000 square foot facility when it’s completed sometime in December 2015.
