Wingate University holds groundbreaking ceremony for new residence hall

Wingate, NC –Wingate University recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new residence hall. First year students should be able to occupy the hall in spring 2013. The residence hall will be more than 60,000 square feet and is a traditional style residence hall with hall baths.
The campus community, trustees and town officials attended. "This new facility will provide our first year students with exceptional housing near the center of campus," said Dr. Jerry McGee, president of Wingate University.
