Wingate University presents percussion Christmas concert
Wingate, N.C. - Wingate University presents a free percussion Christmas concert on Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m. in McGee Theatre of the George A. Batte, Jr. Fine Arts Center.
Josh Walker, adjunct percussionist and teacher, will direct the concert featuring different genres of music, from Christmas theme to drum ensembles and mallet ensembles. Stubernic, a featured marimba trio piece, will showcase the performers travelling around the marimba and playing on different parts of the instrument.
