Wingate, N.C. – Wingate University’s School of Pharmacy is pleased to announce that all 66 of their 2012 graduates achieved a 100% pass rate on the national licensing exam (NAPLEX). This is the second time in six years that Wingate has achieved this distinction (2008 and 2012). The 100% pass rate this year is significantly above the all-N.C. average, and the N.C. average is significantly above the all-U.S.A. average.
“I am so very pleased and continue to be as proud of our graduates as I am the first-class faculty that have spent countless hours training them,” said Vice President for Graduate and Professional Programs Dr. Robert B. Supernaw. Wingate University School of Pharmacy is nationally recognized as a leader in the education of pharmacists.
Since opening its doors in 2003, Wingate University’s School of Pharmacy has distinguished itself nationally by the quality of its graduates, an innovative, student-centered curriculum and creative faculty dedicated to teaching excellence. Last year, the School of Pharmacy relocated to the new Levine College of Health Sciences on the main Wingate campus, which allows the program room to grow. Additionally, in an effort to meet community needs, they also began offering classes in Hendersonville, N.C. in August 2011.
