Wingate University selects Indian Trail resident to serve on Board of Trustees

Wingate, N.C. – Caleb Barnhardt, of Indian Trail, N.C., has been appointed to the 2013 Wingate University Board of Trustees. He will serve a four-year term.

Barnhardt, a retired certified public accountant, is an active member in the community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at SPCC and Alliance for Children. He is on the Finance Board at Rolling Hills Country Club. He is a member of Kiwanis of Monroe, where he served as president and received Kiwanian of the Year – Monroe Club Award for 2010-11.

The Board of Trustees serves as the governing body of the University with responsibilities to include setting policy. Barnhardt is a strong supporter of the athletic programs at Wingate University.
