Wingate University selects Raleigh businessman for Board of Trustees

Wingate, N.C. – Thomas Perry, Jr. of Raleigh, N.C., has been appointed to the 2014 Wingate University Board of Trustees. He will serve a four-year term.

Perry, president of Midtown Advisors LLC, has also served on the University’s Board of Visitors. His other volunteer work includes chairman of the finance committee at Bayleaf Baptist Church where he is a member. He served on the administrative board at St. Mark’s Methodist Church.

The Board of Trustees serves as the governing body of the University with responsibilities to include setting policy. Thirty-six trustees serve on the board, with an additional 12 lifetime members.
