Wingate University Singers and Chamber Choir bring 2012 Tour to Greenville, S.C.

Wingate, NC – The Wingate University Singers and Chamber Choir will perform their winter concert on Sunday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Greenville, S.C. The concert will include a wide array of choral music including works by Byrd, Brahms and Lauridsen, as well as music from South Africa.

The concert is part of a tour throughout the Carolinas. “Through regional concert tours, local and statewide engagements, the Wingate University Choirs are rapidly gaining recognition for excellence throughout the southeastern United States,” said Kenney Potter, director of choral activities and music education at Wingate University. “In May 2012, the choirs will travel to the Baltic countries of Estonia and Latvia.”
