Wingate University’s Wind Ensemble presents spring concert

Wingate, N.C. – Wingate University’s Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Dawn Perry, will perform a concert Monday, March 3 at 7:30 p.m. in McGee Theater of The Batte Center. The concert will feature senior bassoon performance major, Robert Hibbs of Newport, N.C., on the Mozart Concerto for Bassoon. The concert is free and open to the community.

The Wind Ensemble is the premiere instrumental ensemble of the University with focus on the performance of standard and new band repertoire. Enrollment in the Wind Ensemble is required of instrumental music majors and is currently open to any non-majors and community members by audition with the director.
