AccountingWhy Choose Accounting?
Are you a person who enjoys working with people and who has
an analytical mind? Then accounting may be the career choice for
you. We no longer sit in dark cubicles with green eye shades. We are
interacting with people, advising management of corporations large
and small, constantly learning new things, generating new ideas, and
traveling to places near and far.
At Wingate University, you will participate in small classes with
professors who have professional experience as well as academic
degrees and professional certifications. You will get to know your
fellow students and the accounting faculty very well, both in class
and out. You will have an opportunity to become a member of a
student chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) as
well as gain real-life experience through an internship.
