The Core Curriculum
The University Core Curriculum is built around the skills needed to
thrive in the 21st century, and it provides the unifying thread that
runs through the varied academic pursuits on the campus.
-
The Global Perspectives courses are
foundations for facing cultural differences in the diverse
settings where university graduates will live and work.
-
Refined writing skills are nurtured in the
courses which focus on the best writing in multiple fields of
study, in tandem with Wingate’s Writing Center, which provides
daily assistance in integrating writing skills at every level of
a student’s training.
-
Other courses provide opportunities for
developing basic skills and cultural perspectives required by
the challenges the contemporary world sets before us.
