Dr. Robert Billinger, Jr.

     Lehigh University, B.A.
     University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, M.A., Ph.D.
Dr. Billinger is a specialist in Modern European History, International Relations and American Government. He was a Fulbright Graduate Scholar in Vienna, Austria and recipient of the Corts Teaching Award. He is the author of Metternich and the German Question; Hitler's Soldiers in the Sunshine State; and Nazi POWs in the Tar Heel State.

Dr. Gregory Crider

Dr. Crider is a social and cultural historian and award-winning author who specializes in Latin American history, particularly Mexico. He has directed the Wingate-in-London semester program and led study travel programs to Central Mexico and Central America.

Dr. James Hastings

Dr. Hastings specializes in Languages and Cultures of Asia and Religions of South Asia.

Dr. Abannik Hino

Dr. Hino is a specialist in African and Islamic History.

Dr. Caroline Hoefferle
Associate Professor of History & History and Education Coordinator
     Central Michigan University, B.S., M.A., Postgraduate Diploma in Historical Studies
     University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland & Central Michigan University joint program, Ph.D.
Dr. Hoefferle is a specialist in United States History and Women's History.

Dr. Sanyal specializes in South Asian studies and has authored two books and numerous articles.

 

Dr. Jerry Surratt
Emeritus Professor

     Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, B.D.
     Emory University, Ph.D.
Dr. Surratt is the recipient of a Corts Teaching Award. He is the author of Gottlieb Schober of Salem: Discipleship and Ecumenical Vision in an Early Moravian Town.  He has led various international study trips to England, the Netherlands, France, Russia, Germany and Italy. He is a specialist in Church History and North Carolina History.
