Mathematics
We endeavor to provide our students with the mathematical
background and critical thinking skills that are necessary to be an
educated, productive member of today's society. The department
offers four majors in mathematics (as well as a mathematics minor):
The math major allows students to minor in other areas of
interest, such as:

Chemistry
All mathematics majors will be exposed to the
core topics of algebra, analysis, statistics, discrete
mathematics, and mathematical computing. For exact
