Wind Ensemble
The Wind Ensemble is the premiere
instrumental ensemble of the university with focus on the
performance of standard and new band repertoire. Enrollment is
required of instrumental music majors and is currently open to
any non-majors and community members by audition with the
director.

Rehearses every Monday 7 - 9:15 p.m.,
Tuesday/Thursday 12 - 1 p.m.
Bulldog Band
The Bulldog Bands provide entertainment and
support for Wingate University athletics. The Pep Band performs
for football games, providing entertainment in various
activities throughout the game day.
A few preliminary rehearsals
are held before the first game, with subsequent rehearsals
occurring on the Saturday mornings of games. The Basketball Band
performs for women's and men's home basketball games. Students
performing for the season receive scholarship stipends.
Performance in the Pep Band is a prerequisite for Basketball
Band.

Jazz Ensemble
The Jazz Band performs a variety of
literature from standard Big Band and Jazz charts to combos.
Enrollment is currently open to any non-majors and community
members by audition with the director.

Chamber Ensembles
Ensembles such as the Percussion
Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble and Trombone Choir are open to any students by audition
with the directors.
