The Department of Music is housed in the George A. Batte, Jr. Fine Arts Center. The building includes:

• Practice rooms

These state-of-the-art facilities support the university's active and growing music program. Each year, the performance series provides performing artists and ensembles of international reknown throughout the academic year for university students, the campus community and the public to enjoy. Other events include faculty and student recitals, guest artist recitals, master classes and various student ensemble performances.

The new Hannah Covington McGee Theatre, complete with orchestra pit, provides a wonderful setting for Broadway musicals and opera to be performed.
