Please note the Repeat Policy as found in the Academic Catalog:
A student may repeat a course that was previously completed. Only the last
grade earned is used in the calculation of the GPA. All grades are shown
on the transcript. A course may be repeated twice under this
policy. This applies only to courses taken and repeated at Wingate
University. All grades are included in the calculation of the GPA for
honors at graduation. The student is responsible for informing the Office
of the Registrar any time a Wingate University course is repeated.
A student may not repeat a course that is a prerequisite for a course for which
credit has already been earned.
A student may repeat a course under the repeat policy a maximum of two
times. Retaking a course more than twice will not remove the last grade
from the GPA.
A student may not transfer in a course from another institution to count as a
repeat of credit already taken at Wingate University.
