WINGATE UNIVERSITY WRITING CENTER

Welcome to the Writing Center!

We are located adjacent to the ARC on the 2nd floor of the EKS Library. Faculty-recommended student writing assistants from a variety of disciplines staff the Center. Our assistants are prepared to discuss all writing related issues with both experienced and inexperienced writers. We can help writers in many areas, including planning, drafting, argumentation, audience, organization, research, and grammar issues. We can also consult with faculty on writing related topics, such as writing across the curriculum, developing writing prompts or designing self-editing worksheets for specific courses and assignments.

On this site, you’ll find general information about the Center’s policies and procedures, printable self help handouts for both students and faculty, schedules of upcoming workshops, and other resources. You can also schedule tutoring or consultation appointments from the site. Feel free to browse the information and if you have any questions, please let us know!
