Graduation Requirements: Undergraduates (B.A., B.F.A., B.M.E., B.S. Degrees)

You must have a minimum of 125 hours.

You must have a minimum of 40 Lyceum credits.  (Transfer students may require fewer.  You may check with the Office of the Registrar if you have questions.)

You must have at least 40 hours total of 300 or 400 level courses. (Biology majors only require 34 hours of 300 or 400 level courses.)

You must have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 overall and in your major and in your minor.

You must pass the exit exam in your chosen major.

Your last 30 hours completed immediately before graduation must be taken in residence (on Wingate's campus).

You must have met the General Education requirements as well as the requirements for your major.  Several majors offer a choice between the Bachelor of Science or the Bachelor of Arts degree.  The coursework for one or the other must be complete.

August Graduates may participate in the Commencement ceremony if they are able to complete all necessary degree requirements at Wingate University by the end of the second summer term, have a Cumulative 2.0 GPA and Major 2.0 GPA, are paid in full for all necessary coursework prior to commencement, and have otherwise fulfilled all financial obligations to the University.
