Wingate University is operated on a non-discriminatory basis. Fill out our application now and send in the $50 (US Dollars) nonrefundable processing fee.

Submit your application as soon as possible. If you are applying for fall semester, applications must be in no later than June 1. If you are applying for spring semester, applications must be in no later than November 1. We will automatically review you for Wingate Academic Scholarships. (No separate application is needed.)

Submit your original and official transcript(s) with a certified evaluation & English translation

An original, certified transcript evaluation and translation of your high school transcript must be submitted. An original, certified transcript evaluation and translation of your college transcript(s) need to be submitted, if applicable; especially if you would like to receive credit at Wingate University for credits you earned at another non-US college or university. Wingate requires official transcripts from all institutions attended, even if no credit was earned. We recommend using World Education Services, Inc. for your evaluation and University Language Services, Inc. for your translation. Translated & evaluated official final transcripts are also required before enrollment.

Submit official standardized test scores.

All non-US citizen applicants are required to submit at least one set of standardized test scores:: Official Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), American College Testing Program (ACT), Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores or International English Language Testing System (IELTS). Wingate recommends a TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or 80 (internet-based) for admission. The recommended overall band score for the IELTS (academic module) is 6. Wingate's code for the SAT & TOEFL is 5908; for the ACT the code is 3176. These official test scores are required no matter if the applicant has attended a college or university prior to applying to Wingate or has been out of high school for 5+ years.

Students expecting credit from a US college/university must complete the Confidential Inquiry Form.

Section I is to be completed by you. Section II is to be completed and signed by the Dean of Students at the last college/university attended. It is expected that you will be in good academic and personal standing at that institution.
