Campus Recreation focuses on student development, physical and psychological health, and social interaction through involvement in recreational activity located in the Dickson Palmer Student Center. The Fitness Center also allows students to check out sport equipment including golf clubs, tennis racquets, camping equipment and more! Students are also free to use the indoor swimming pool and tennis courts located in the Cannon Complex.

Campus Recreation employs many students and relies on student staff to help organize and manage all of its program areas. A great place to work and play!
The Office of Campus Recreation offers a variety of sports and fitness activities throughout the academic year. The primary program areas are intramural sports, fitness and wellness. Whether students are seeking ways to improve fitness, relieve stress or make new friends, Campus Recreation offers fun for all.

Over a dozen intramural team and individual sports are offered each year. Leagues are formed for flag football, basketball, soccer, volleyball and floor hockey. Tournament events include sand volleyball, softball, racquetball, billiards and more.

The DPC Fitness Center includes cardio machines, circuit weight training and free weights. Free group fitness classes range from Yoga to Cardio Dance to Amazing Abs. There are at least a dozen classes offered each week to help anyone achieve their fitness goals. Personal training and assessment services are offered for those wanting specialized workouts.
