Plyler-Griffin Recital Hall
More intimate than McGee Theatre, the Plyler-Griffin Recital Hall seats 170. Frequently used for recitals, the acoustics of this space are something to be marveled. It is also equipped with an array of multimedia technologies. The recital hall lends itself to being the perfect location for meetings and conferences.
Anne R. Belk Music Center
Home to the department of music, the Anne R. Belk Music Center features numerous classrooms and private studios for music instruction. Larger ensembles benefit from an instrumental rehearsal room and a choral rehearsal room. Students can make use of practice rooms, a Music Resource Center with numerous scores and audio recordings and two digital production labs.
Across the street from the George A. Batte, Jr. Fine Arts Center is Austin Auditorium, a 990 seat hall. Housed within the auditorium is the Rivers Family Organ, an impressive instrument capable of a forceful sound. Currently, WUTV's studios are also in residence in Austin Auditorium.
