Wingate University participates in three tuition exchange programs:
The Tuition Exchange, Inc
NCICU Tuition Exchange Program
Council of Independent Colleges Tuition Exchange Program.
The Tuition Exchange, Inc.
The Tuition Exchange, Inc. (TE) is a reciprocal scholarship program for children of faculty and staff employed at over 600 participating institutions. TE is a non-profit association, serving higher education by making careers at college and universities more attractive. Participating institutions include public, private, research and doctoral universities, liberal arts colleges and comprehensive institutions.
Each institution affiliated with TE sets its own standards for admission, determines the number of TE scholarships to be offered and oversees the process by which eligible dependents are selected for participation. Each institution must maintain a reasonable balance between “imports” (students attending the institution as part of the TE program) and “exports” (eligible dependents enrolled at another institution as part of the TE program).
It is important to work with the Tuition Exchange Liaison Officer at your home institution who has been appointed to facilitate exchange matters. The Director of Student Financial Planning is the Liaison Officer at Wingate University. A complete list of colleges and universities that participate in the Tuition Exchange program can be found at www.tuitionexchange.org.
Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) Tuition Exchange Program
The CIC-Tuition Exchange Program is a network of CIC colleges and universities willing to accept students from families of full-times employees of other CIC-TEP participating institutions. Students accepted under this program receive a full tuition remission benefit. More information about the Council of Independent Colleges Tuition Exchange Program (CIC-TEP) can be found at www.cic.edu/TEP.
