General Information
- Your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be renewed each year. Renewal Applications are available after January 1st of each year.
- You must notify the Office of Student Financial Planning of any additional scholarships, grants, or other types of educational funds that you may receive from outside sources.
- All financial aid awards are awarded for up to 8 total semesters, based upon continued eligibility and satisfactory progress standards.
Eligibility Requirements
- Your award is determined based on your expected family contribution (EFC), expected enrollment and housing status as indicated on your FAFSA. You must contact the Office of Student Financial Planning if your status changes.
- You must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress to remain eligible for financial aid. Please refer to the Wingate University Catalog for Satisfactory Progress policies.
- Federal law requires that we obtain your written permission to discuss your Financial Aid and Student Account information with any third party, including your parent or guardian. All students must have a FERPA Waiver Form on file with the Office of Student Financial Planning.
