Active CPA Review Environment
The lab setting creates a challenging environment for students to provide support with CPA Review questions and simulations and assess their learning outcomes. Students are evaluated on test taking strategies and accountability in preparing for the CPA exam. Students use various resources and are given immediate feedback on tests as well as homework assignments. As a result of the personal assessment, students are able to ask questions about a particular section and have the capacity to research the answer with the Learning and Assessment Coordinator to gain a better understanding of CPA Review topics.
We offer prerequisite courses in the summer session, using an innovated course delivery approach with our Learning and Assessment Coordinator. The lab provides student discussion on particular topics, in which students learn from each other. The lab setting also provides the quiet study time needed to learn the material.
