Students supplement their Bachelor degree with a major:
Organizational Communication and Management
In today's ever changing workplace, communication skills consistently rank among the most desirable attributes by employers when evaluating job applicants and employees. The Adult Bachelor degree in Organizational Communication and Management is an interdisciplinary degree program designed to help you become an effective communicator in a work environment.
You may choose from a variety of courses in communications, management and marketing to learn key communication concepts. Through an active learning approach, you will also develop practical skills in oral, written and visual communications. The management component of the major offers exposure to principles of marketing, management and organizational behavior and the applications of those concepts to the global economy.
Human Services prepares the adult learner for challenges facing the social science environment by providing ample in-class preparation. Classroom investigation and analysis in the areas of sociology and psychology offer students the skills and knowledge that enhance the well-being of individuals served through service agencies. Students will often move on to graduate programs or to careers in social services, business, law, ministry, assisted living, nursing home and retirement facilities.
