for an ethical, capable, dependable, customer
service-oriented student to
assist with programmatic and administrative support.
Works under the supervision of the Director of
Special
Academic Programs and/or Coordinator of Academic
Affairs. Assists with all office needs as
necessary with specific attention to:
Honors Program
-
Maintain database of
Honors students
-
Assist student
coordinator of Honors mentor program
-
Monitor use/upkeep of
Honors Lounge
-
Assist with receptions
for Honors students as determined
-
Develop communication
pieces for Honors students (current and former)
-
Update website
Undergraduate Research Program
- Update website as necessary
-
Summer Research Presentation Series
-
assist with logistics and event
coordination, including
publicity
-
Symposium
-
creating and maintaining database for
Undergraduate Research Symposium presenters
-
develop and edit Undergraduate Research Symposium
program booklet
-
assist with public relations and publicity efforts
-
oversee event details and provide support to keynote
speaker and event manager
-
plan Opening Session and Celebration Luncheon
Other duties as assigned
- assist
with arrangements for Woodrow Wilson Fellow visit
- assist
with office needs such as photocopying, filing, etc.
- assist
with special projects as determined
Skills:
