Goals and outlook
The Freshman Senate’s main goal is
to become better leaders in the Wingate Community. The purpose
of Senate is to promote leadership skills, communication skills,
and also building confidence in the young people of SGA.
Overall, the goal for second semester is to ensure that the end
of the year SGA Banquet in a success and a pleasure for all
members of SGA and the Wingate Community to enjoy. The Senate is
working hard each week to meet deadlines and goals that I, the
Leadership Development Chair, have set before them. This group
of young people is up for the challenge and I feel that this
semester will be a developmental one; however, they will learn
how to work hard and have fun at the same time.
