CHRISTIAN STUDENT UNION

A ministry for all
Christians, cosponsored by the Baptist State Convention of North
Carolina.
CSU meets every Tuesday
night at 7:30pm in Helms Forum. This time of worship includes a
variety of music and drama. The meetings are led by students and
special guest speakers. Small group Bible studies as well as
Discipleship groups are held during the week.
Local Missions
Opportunities
There are several
different ways students can be involved with missions in the
community. During the 2002-2003 year, several students helped with
the Wednesday night Children’s program at Wingate Baptist Church.
The Christian Student Union and FCA helped with the school’s
Halloween Festival, along with APB and other student organizations.
The Christian Student Union sponsored the Second Annual Easter
Celebration which included an Egg Hunt at the Campus Lake and games
in the Student Center with over 75 children in attendance.

Outreach
There are several students at Wingate
University who are interested in leading youth events. This can
include music, leading Bible studies, and planning and conducting
retreats for churches around the state. We are currently scheduling
events for the 2003-2004 school year. To request an event led by a
