Welcome to the  Wingate University Multicultural Affairs website. This site was created to inform prospective students, current students, faculty, staff, parents and alumni about the programs and services offered by the Office of Multicultural Affairs. The services and programs offered by the Office of Multicultural Affairs  benefit minority students and the Wingate student body as a whole.

Mission

The mission of the Office of Multicultural Affairs is to serve as a support system while heightening the awareness of diversity and inclusion. To make diversity a permanent way of life and the way we live. To value the advantage of diversity. To embrace diversity while encouraging a diverse environment and exemplifying respect for each others differences.

Purpose

The Office of Multicultural Affairs purpose is to provide services and programming to all students at Wingate University regardless of race or ethnicity. We hope to inspire and educate all students while enhancing the appreciation and awareness of diversity.

The Office of Multicultural Affairs sponsors a variety of programs and activities throughout the academic year that celebrate diversity for the entire university and strongly encourages community participation.
