CURRICULUM ORGANIZATIONS

 

Art Club gives members the opportunity to explore different areas of art in order to gain a greater understanding and appreciation.

Biology Club is organized to develop student interest in the field of biology through co-curricular activities and to serve as a communication device between students and faculty.

Chemistry Club prepares students in the chemistry field for their respective careers by raising awareness for important contemporary topics and facilitating a broader understanding of the study of chemistry.

Communication Studies Club focuses on developing internships and networking opportunities for students in the Communications Department.

Delta Sigma Pi is a national business fraternity that works to foster the study of business, encourages scholarship, social activity, and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice to promote closer affiliation between the corporate world and Wingate University business students.

English Club promotes campus-wide awareness of the importance of reading and writing skills, fosters community among students who value the study of subjects concerning English, and incorporates the love of English into everyday life for Wingate Students and faculty.

French Club generates a better understanding of the French culture and advocates for diversity among the community.

Phi Alpha Delta promotes the principles of liberty and equal justice under law for all citizens, to stimulate
excellence in scholarship and provides a forum for the interchange between members of this chapter and other members of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International.

Phi Epsilon Kappa operates for education and charitable purposes as a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing interest in the fields of Athletic Training, Parks and Recreation, Physical Education and Sports Management.

Pre-Professional Health Care Organization (PPHCO) provides students with information about and understanding of the opportunities within the professional health care field. Psi Chi is the local unit of the National Honor Society in Psychology. The purpose is to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship of the individual members in all fields, particularly in psychology and to advance the science of Psychology.

Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society, confers distinction upon outstanding students of the English language and literature in undergraduate, graduate, and professional studies.

Sports Medicine Education Club serves as the communication link between students and staff of Sports Medicine department.

Sport Science Majors Club strives to create interaction between the physical education, sport management, athletic training, and parks and recreation majors.

Student North Carolina Association of Educators is for students majoring in education, or who are interested in promoting awareness in the field of education. Membership allows students to avail themselves of the benefits of the NCAE.
