UCAN is the
student-led campus organization devoted solely to community
service and social issues awareness. UCAN's motto is Live
Love. Serve Others. With this focus, UCAN
connects students to a variety of service opportunities
locally and regionally. UCAN depends on the energy,
imagination, and commitment of students! UCAN's goal is to
educate students, faculty and staff about the social concerns of
the global society and empowering them to make a difference by
"doing"
their education. In doing this, we are living out and inspiring a
life time commitment to the ideals emblazoned on the Wingate
University Seal:

Getting Involved in UCAN
UCAN is not a club that you have to join. There are no
membership dues or eligibility requirements. UCAN's Programs
range from one-time events to year-long commitments. Please complete
a UCAN Volunteer
Application and return it to the UCAN Office in the Dickson
Palmer Student Center.
