Byrum School of Business, located on the Wingate, NC campus, this program is designed for those who look to become financial executives.

Designed for adult students in the Charlotte area, our MBA program prepares you for a career in business. Students are offered a choice of five concentration areas to develop specialized career skills and knowledge. Public Health

Wingate’s Master of Public Health degree program will prepare students to become competent public health professionals and leaders in the field making a difference within their communities. The MPH program coursework is designed with a focus on flexibility meeting students’ needs by offering it online and including live classes and self-driven modules. Students also gain field experience, where they learn how to apply knowledge on public health principles from first-year coursework.

Social Work

Wingate’s Master of Social Work (MSW) Program provides multifaceted contributions to the campus and surrounding areas, fulfilling an expressed need for more graduate-level opportunities in health and human services. Our groundbreaking MSW program will establish the footprint for behavioral health studies at Wingate University.

Physician Assistant

The Physician Assistant Studies program is a continuous 27-month master’s degree program leading to the MPAS degree. Students may apply for admission to either the Hendersonville or the Wingate campus. Graduates of the program are eligible to sit for the PANCE. Our five-year, first-time taker pass rate regularly surpasses the national average.

Physical Therapy

The doctoral degree program in physical therapy is a three-year program offered on the Wingate campus. The experiential approach includes a dedicated Human Anatomy Lab and 38 weeks of hands-on training in a variety of clinical settings.

Occupational Therapy

The entry-level Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) degree is 8 consecutive semesters. The profession of occupational therapy is highly skilled and technical, requiring a rigorous academic preparation. Wingate University OTD students will be provided with clinical education opportunities beginning in the second semester of the program.

Pharmacy

The four year doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) program is offered at the Wingate and Hendersonville campuses.  Our pharmacist education focuses on providing students with the knowledge, skills, and professionalism that one needs to practice in any healthcare setting and address the needs of any patient. Students learn in the classroom and then immediately apply that knowledge in a real-life clinical experiences.
