Grad Certificate

The Public Health Graduate Certificate is designed for individuals who want to gain foundational knowledge in public health, but may not be ready for a full graduate degree program.

The Public Health Graduate Certificate is 15 credits and incorporates courses from the MPH Degree Program. It is fully online and asynchronous. The curriculum provides foundational knowledge in health education and promotion that can enhance skills and knowledge for professionals working in various settings with diverse populations (e.g. education, child welfare, justice system). 

The application requirements for the graduate certificate outlined below:

  1. Must submit an application via the graduate application portal (ensure to select the Master of Public Health program, followed by the Public Health Generalist Certificate option)
  2. Applicants must have an undergraduate degree.
  3. Provide a resume or CV.
  4. Provide a 500-word personal statement.
  5. Provide official transcripts.
  6. Provide the 2 recommendations
