Academic Accommodations
Academic Accommodations are tailored to the individual to eliminate barriers caused by a disability, and to afford students equal access and the opportunity to participate in academic programs and services. Examples include (but are not limited to):
-
Extended time for test
-
Note-taking support
-
Use of a computer
Three Step Process
Step 1: Complete the New Academic Accommodations Request (Academic Accommodations Request )
Step 2: Upload any documentation that verifies your disability or condition. If you do not have any documentation or paperwork, you may download Disability Verification Form to be completed by a specialist. Be sure to review the General Documentation Guidelines.
Step 3: Participate in an interactive conversation about your request to determine whether reasonable accommodations are necessary and appropriate.
