Biology and Education
BIOLOGY & EDUCATION
A degree in Biology and Education is where your interest in science and exploring the world around you comes together with your passion for helping others. Our coursework addresses both sides of this equation with one streamlined program. While strengthening your foundation in biology and chemistry with increasingly focused coursework, you will dive into the dynamic world of educational psychology and human communications.

ENGLISH & EDUCATION
Throughout your four years, you take courses that range from intensive studies of literary theory to surveys of different literary genres. You also get the foundation you need to succeed as the leader of your own classroom, with courses in educational psychology and a study of the teaching profession.

HISTORY & EDUCATION
You’ll discover if education is the right choice for you right from the start. The first education class you take has you conducting a practicum at a local high school. Courses in education and history give you the knowledge and skills you need to succeed as a teacher in grades 9-12.

Mathematics & Education
ABOUT MATHEMATICS AND EDUCATION
Our Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Education is a double degree guaranteeing you the opportunity for a rewarding career. You take at least 32 hours of upper-level math courses. That’s considered a full math major. Getting to know discrete mathematics intimately and linear algebra concretely gives you the tools you need to be a successful teaching in grades 9-12.
