Charles A. Cannon College of Arts and Sciences
When you major in math and business, you take math courses that teach you the quantitative reasoning and problem-solving skills you need in the business world. All math courses are detailed in our academic catalog and include:
- Calculus and Analytic Geometry II
- Discrete Mathematics
- Linear Algebra
- Statistics I
- One elective at the 300- or 400-level.
You combine these with 39 hours of business courses that include:
- Nine hours (9) of accounting
- Nine hours (9) of economics
- Twenty-one (21) hours of business
Courses in financial accounting, macro- and microeconomics, management and marketing sharpen your business acumen.
Major Requirements
Mathematics majors at Wingate earn either a BS or BA degree. Students may also minor in mathematics.
