Wingate offers eight master's degrees (master of accounting, master of business administration, master of arts in education in elementary education, master of arts in education in educational leadership, master of arts in teaching in elementary education, master of physician assistant studies, master of public health and master of sport management) and four doctoral programs (education, pharmacy, physical therapy and occupational therapy.) Our graduate programs are offered on three campuses to meet our students where they work and live. Explore the offerings below and go to the program of your interest to get more details.
Master of accounting
In the Porter B. Byrum School of Business, earn your MAC degree in a flexible one or two-year program. Courses can be taken online or in person at our Ballantyne Campus. With Fall and Spring start dates available, begin your graduate studies when it's convenient for you. At $665 per credit hour, this 30-credit hour program is within reach.
Master of Business administration
In the Porter B. Byrum School of Business, earn your MBA degree or dual degree MBA plus Pharmacy (PharmD) or Physical Therapy (DPT). The MBA program can be completed online or in person at our Ballantyne Campus with Fall, Spring or Summer start dates. At $700 per credit hour, this 36-credit hour program is designed for the working professional. Let's get started.
Graduate Education
In the Thayer School of Education, Wingate offers multiple advanced degrees and an add-on licensure in the field of education: M.A.T, M.A.Ed., Ed.S and Ed.D. Master's programs are $440 per credit hour and doctoral programs are $560 per credit hour. These programs are all offered online.
Sports Management
Part of the School of Sport Sciences, the master's degree program has been tailored around the modern student. All classes are online, start dates in the Fall, Spring and Summer and at an affordable $540 per credit hour. This 34-credit hour program offers students concentrations that feed directly into high-demand careers.
Public Health
In the Levine College of Health Science, this master's program is offered online and can be completed in two years. The program has a Fall start and is $762 per credit hour. Occupational Therapy
Included in the Levine College of Health Science, this entry-level doctor of occupational therapy program (OTD) is an eight consecutive semester program with a Fall start. A close-knit and small cohort allows for exceptional time with faculty and in hands-on practice. This 125 credit program will leave you practice-ready and confident to pursue your career. The tuition is $11,010 per term.
Physical Therapy
In the Levine College of Health Science, earn your entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy degree or make it a dual degree by adding your MBA. With a January start date, this program is nine consecutive semesters (including summers) and costs $12,333 per semester.
School of pharmacy
Included in the Levine College of Health Science, the School of Pharmacy is located on both Wingate and Hendersonville campuses. Earn your PharmD or a dual degree by adding an MBA. The program is four years, 144 credit hours and with a Fall start date. Years one through three are $18,362 per semester and year four is $12,454.
Physician assistant
In the Harris Department of Physician Assistant Studies, you'll receive a Master of Physician Assistant Studies, MPAS. This program is offered in both Wingate and Hendersonville and is 27 months in length. It has a fall start date and tuition is $13,910 per semester.
Charlotte, NC
Our Ballantyne Campus is home to the MAC and MBA programs. A popular and fast-growing area of Charlotte, this campus is strategically located in a business-rich district and within 15 to uptown Charlotte.
Hendersonville, NC
Our Hendersonville Campus serves as a second location for our School of Pharmacy and Physician Assistant Studies programs. The same curriculum, located on two campuses to serve more students in these popular and in-demand degrees.
Wingate, NC
