Before students receive their class schedule, they will need to complete the Course Preference Form on their New Student Checklist (this is only applicable for students starting in August). Once your schedule is built, you will be able to view it on WinLINK.

Your class schedule is based on a variety of variables including your Course Preference Form, your Math Placement Exam, previous college credits earned, your intended major, and class availability. 

Students must complete the housing application on their New Student Checklist before receiving their housing assignment. 

NetPartner is a personalized financial aid portal that will allow you to keep track of your progress in the financial aid process. NetPartner can be accessed via your Student Checklist under the Financial Aid Documents task. You should make it a habit to log into NetPartner at least once a week to check your financial aid status. 

The due date for Final Official Transcripts, that includes date of graduation, is located on your New Student Checklist. Request that your school counselor send your transcripts to us electronically through Naviance, Scribble, CFNC, Clearinghouse, or SCOIR. While sending transcripts electronically is the preferred method, it is also possible for your school to send them via mail to the below address:

If you have ANY college level credit, including Dual Enrollment credit or Early College credit, you must have that college send your transcript to us as soon as possible. AP credit must be sent to us directly from College Board. We need this before we can finalize your class schedule. For students who are submitting official international transcript evaluations through SpanTran, WES, etc. please make sure that the evaluation includes all of your high school equivalent coursework.

If you have already taken college level courses and received grades for those courses, please have your college or university send those transcripts to Wingate immediately, even if you are still in the process of taking additional courses at that college or university. The sooner we receive the information on the courses you have already taken, the better.

You will have the ability to report these classes to us through the Course Preference Form (accessible via your Student Checklist). It is important that students who plan to receive credit at Wingate for college level courses previously taken elsewhere, communicate those credits to Wingate as soon as possible. The Course Preference Form will allow you to do that for courses you have already taken, are in the process of taking or plan to take prior to starting classes at Wingate. Once you do receive grades for college level courses taken prior to starting class at Wingate, make sure to have the college or university at which those credits were earned send your transcripts to Wingate immediately.

Bulldog Central is where students can go to get help with their student account, financial aid, registration, advising and more. The Bulldog Central online database provides a convenient way to search for answers and request help. You aren’t doing anything wrong! If you’re having this issue it is most likely because you have a personal Gmail account. In this case, you want to be sure you have logged out of your personal Gmail account, cleared your browsing history and are logged in to your Wingate email account before accessing the desired platform. The other option you have is opening the desired platform in an incognito window. 

Yes! When you complete your housing application (accessible via your Student Checklist) you will have the opportunity to request a specific roommate. That specific person will also need to request you as a roommate. While the Office of Residence Life cannot guarantee to fulfill this request, they will make every effort to do so.

You will receive your parking decal when you arrive to campus. To get a parking decal, make sure you have filled out the Vehicle Registration Form on your New Student Checklist. If you do not plan on bringing a vehicle to campus, you still need to check your new student checklist and exempt that checklist item. If you do not exempt that checklist item you will be charged for a parking decal.

Students who do not qualify for FAFSA due to their citizenship status can complete the financial responsibility form. Depending on the results of the financial responsibility form, a student may qualify for additional institutional aid.

Students, other than F1-Visa International students (see below), are required to attend one in-person summer orientation date. As a student, you will have the opportunity to connect face-to-face with both faculty and future classmates. Making those connections in-person and before the academic year starts, will be critical to your successful transition to college life. As a parent/guardian attending an in-person orientation, you’ll have the opportunity to hear directly from critical Wingate staff members on supporting your student throughout their college experience. Attending in-person orientation is an important piece of preparing for your future at Wingate.

An orientation program for international students will be hosted on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024 from 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. More details to come!

Not at this time. Schedules can only be changed due to a conflict with a Wingate University athletic team practice. You will have the option of making changes throughout the Add/Drop period, during the first week of classes.

Our professional staff advisors created your schedule especially for you based on your major. All of the courses are a part of your degree plan. Remember, you will be taking a variety of classes to fulfill general education and Global Perspectives requirements alongside the courses within your declared major and/or minor. Schedules changes will only be made if you request a major change or a conflict with a WU athletic team practice.
