Getting ready to move to campus and/or start classes at Wingate is an exciting time! With that excitement might come a little anxiety. To ease that anxiety and to allow you to focus on the excitement of it all, here are the key components to our Spring 2022 Orientation.

Khalil Khenayzir from Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, Texas, will play soccer at Wingate.
Jasean Young from Pinecrest High School in Southern Pines, North Carolina, received the Anne Dorsey Scholarship from the Moore County Choral Society.
Tayler Hicks from Sullivan East High School in Bluff City, Tennessee, plans to double major in criminal justice and psychology.
Makenna West from Palmer Ridge High School in Monument, Colorado, will play field hockey at Wingate.
Rylie Cordrey of Dagsboro, Delaware, is transferring to Wingate from Coker University, where she played field hockey.
Romel Jackson, a standout athlete at Valley High in Valley, Alabama, will be a member of the track and field team.
Maddie Hoffman from Cor Jesu Academy in Fenton, Missouri will be playing volleyball at Wingate.
Kyle Honore, senior at Potomac Senior High School in Dumfries, Virginia, will play basketball at Wingate.
Josh Massey will join the Wingate basketball team. Massey was a part of Team United, a non-profit organization that helps foster basketball and life skills.
Gabby Saye, a senior at Edwardsville High School in Edwardsville, Illinois, will join the Wingate volleyball team.
Christian Contreras, a senior at Hibriten High School in Lenoir, North Carolina, will be attending Wingate and will play football.
Zahra Gaskin will join Wingate’s triathlon team. She’s a member of the Barbados Federation of Island Triathletes and represented Barbados in the Junior Pan Am Games.
Senior Danny Parker of South Brunswick High School in Southport, North Carolina, is headed to Wingate and will be a member of the University’s football team.
Clare Sheedy, a senior at Plymouth High School located in Plymouth, Indiana, will be joining the Wingate volleyball team.
Meagan Mowrey, a senior at North Lincoln High School of Denver, North Carolina, will be playing volleyball for Wingate.

Tyler Moltisanti, a senior at Nease High School in Ponte Vedra, Florida, is bringing his love for lacrosse to Wingate.
Madison Setzer, a soccer standout at Crest High School in Shelby, North Carolina, will play soccer for Wingate.
Maya Walker attends Fleming Island High School and has a passion for volleyball. She is a defensive specialist and outside hitter and is part of the Jacksonville Juniors Volleyball Association.
Lauren Montgomery is a senior at Williamsville South High School in Williamsville, New York. She is a part of the Williamsville Stampede and will be a member of Wingate’s inaugural field hockey team.
Kaylee Hobgood plays center field for the Wildcats’ softball team at West Stokes High School in King and will soon be playing for Wingate.
Kenleigh Frye of Richmond High School in Rockingham, North Carolina, will bring her skills and enthusiasm to Wingate’s softball team. She played infield on her high school softball team, the Lady Raiders.
Evelin Cezati of Greenville Early College plans to major in biology to follow her dreams of becoming an OB-GYN. She’s looking forward to her future as a Bulldog at Wingate University.
Austin Starr, an offensive lineman at Mary Persons High School in Forsyth, Georgia, will bring his skills and determination to the Wingate gridiron.
Cole Leasure of Orange City, Florida, plays football for University High School. He’ll soon be a Bulldog.
Sydney Morland, a senior at Cheyenne Mountain High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado, will join Wingate’s volleyball team.
Seth Griffiths, senior at Central York High in Pennsylvania, has committed to play football at Wingate. He was named the York-Adams League Division I Defensive Player of the Year.
