The campus celebrates the accomplishments of its graduating students each spring and fall. If you’re graduating, we invite you and your family to take part in this milestone celebration.
Wingate University is planning in-person commencement exercises on its main campus May 14 and 15 for spring 2021 graduates. Ceremony times include 9 a.m. that Friday for graduate programs; 9 a.m. Saturday for the College of Arts and Sciences; and 1 p.m. Saturday for the School of Business, the College of Professional Studies and the Nursing program. Each graduate will receive four guest tickets. The University is in the process of creating a ticket distribution process. As soon as tickets are available, graduates will be notified via email.
Additionally, 2020 Wingate graduates have been invited to return for a belated in-person ceremony on May 16. Attendance will be limited to four guests for each graduate. None of this spring's events are open to the public.
A committee of representatives from across the University is working to make this both a memorable and safe experience. Further details will be released as plans are made in accordance with North Carolina’s Covid-19 restrictions. We appreciate your patience.
