Renee M. Hastings grew up in Maryland and received her undergraduate degree from Clemson University in Biochemistry. Continuing her education at Clemson University she attained a Master of Science in Zoology. During her graduate work she developed a path for graduate students in different fields to fulfill the requirements for earning a teaching certificate. Renee loves the outdoors, gardening, camping, hiking and attending concerts. She has three children: Lonnie, Johanna and Alec; two Great Danes: Izzy and Diesel and three cats: Calypso, Fluffy Paws and Cookie. Sports are a passion, collegiate and professional - Go Tigers! Go Bulldogs! Panthers, Hornets, Jaguars (Trevor Lawrence) hockey and more!
