About Me

Dr. Dinkins received her doctorate in pharmacy from the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy in 2006 and her board certification in ambulatory care pharmacy in 2012. Prior to coming to Wingate University, she has seven years of teaching experience in the pharmaceutical care labs at UNC, as well as eight years of practical experience in community and ambulatory care pharmacy.

Dr. Dinkins has been an active participant in the North Carolina Association of Pharmacists (NCAP) since 2009, serving as a member-at-large on the board of directors (2015-2018) and on the Community Care Practice Forum (2009-2014, chair 2014). She has also held offices in the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) and authored the application for the AACP Student Community Engaged Service Award, which was awarded in 2009 to a student organization she advised. Additionally, Dr. Dinkins was awarded the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) One to One Patient Counseling award in 2010.
