Wingate Student Relief Fund
One mission. One fund. One Dog.
Historically, One Day, One Dog: Day of Giving has encouraged the Wingate family to come together and support the area of campus they love the most over a 24-hour period. But our students have an immediate need that cannot wait until April 2, and our efforts will last as long as it takes to get the job done.
Days before Union County reported its first case of coronavirus, the University began efforts to limit exposure by ending in-person classes and sending students home to transition to an online format. While prudent, the move left some students facing unexpected expenses, such as for travel and distance-learning technology. International students who cannot travel home continue to deal with financial hurdles without nearby family support.
In the spirit of #OneDog, we are uniting all of our efforts under one mission: to serve our students during this unprecedented time. We have developed a Student Relief Fund to address any unanticipated challenges or circumstances our students may face. These urgent needs are our top priority. Please consider supporting our students through the Student Relief Fund so they have the resources they need to be successful, even in less-than-ideal circumstances.
